488 a.c. - 2015

The number 488 is in commemoration of a battle cruiser honored for his achievements during the Great War.
488 is an award-winning wine, including the Gold Medal won at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, an example in the world of Italian art of making wine.
The 488 imposes itself at first glance, with an intense purple red color with violet reflections, a perfume that enchants the nose very intense, fruity and spicy with notes of blackcurrant, plum jam and black pepper and a warm and very enveloping flavor with a delicate but persistent tannin.
A truly exceptional Piedmontese wine: Barbera 40%, Nebbiolo 30%, Syrah / Shiraz 30%
It goes perfectly with dishes based on red meat, chicken and pork. Excellent combinations with cold cuts and aged cheeses, but also with first courses such as risotto and lasagna.
